Take a look at the sales history of the 'sold out' PS2 and DS, the previous two fastest selling 'sold out' platforms in history. There are HUGE HUGE HUGE spikes for the holidays. Despite their 'sold out' status, noone can deny a lot of stockpiling was happening. Why would the Wii be any different?
Oh yeah, did I mention that the 'sold out' PS2 and DS, which were the fastest selling 'sold out' platforms had huge sales spikes for the holidays?
