i think this generation will go on for a long time, so i think there's a lot of untapped potential and programming "tricks" that the devs can still pull off for both machines (i guess wii is a no brainer for potential considering the current crop of visuals).
i'd be disappointed if KZ2 was the best looking game the ps3 is going to produce for this generation.
