As for importing games from Britain, it's not just the PS3, it goes for all the consoles. The currency exchange rates up till a month ago were good enough to warrent buying everything from England or Germany.
I wonder what the figures for the xbox and Wii are in Poland, MS could give some info, but there's no way to get any on the Wii, since there's no official sales rep. in the country. The import company also wouldn't disclose anything :(.
OT It's a very good figure for the PS3.
