When I first got the game, I was like "where is the campain". A little bit dissapointing, but it's OK. Most RTS games geared towards multiplayer has very poor single player. I don't see how Stardock could have made the game into an interesting single player campain, and that would have taken away from the budget spent into making the core of the game better.
That means that we cannot get more of the story behind the three races. I think they have very compelling background stories. Maybe, if there is a sequel, we willl know more in the future.
