Why are people so threatened by the Wii?

Guys, saying that you feel 'threatened' by a CONSOLE is like admitting you are fanboys!?

Why the hell do you feel THREATENED by it? It's just another direction, gaming as you know it is NOT going to be destroyed or finished or stopped because of Wii doing things differently.

 I personally like both styles, but honestly you do SERIOUSLY feel threatened by it? that's absurd.
