Montana, I give you credit for the research but I'll give you 3 thoughts since you asked so nicely.
1. PSP always does well on Amazon.jp. If this were a major spike above normal, it would fit your point better.
2. For such anticipation for the game, it's still not even the number 1 game listed (granted for that hour).
3. A Pokemon game also hits the same week. There aren't many games that can counter a FF game but Pokemon is one of them.
Should be an interesting week to watch for sure.
