I like how the article implies that "There are only so many old people, little kids, and normal people" as if these are small, marginalized groups outside the billions and billions of gamers in the world, especially the normal people part...
Either way, the article, once again, ignores the fact that Wii has had no price-drops. As soon as demand stagnates across the board (as in not just in Japan), Nintendo is poised to drop the price by $50-$100 and watch it all explode again. Bundles, colors, upgraded models (these the least likely), but all things are still possible. It's the launch SKU of Wii that we're talking about here, over two years into the console's life and still far and away outselling competitors who have been through a dozen SKUs between them
