The 2nd Amendment is vague and can be changed, just as the 18th Amendment enacted Prohibition. Before that point, most drugs were legal. Again, if Americans are too immature to handle drugs, why should they allowed to carry firearms? And don't hide behind the Constitution. It's 2009 and you're a diehard Republican. As Bogie once said, "It's bad salesmanship." |
I am not hiding behind the Const, I am defending it. Americans have the right, given to them by the founders of this nation to carry arms, not for hunting or the Sunday gathering with the good ol' boys, but to defend against enemies foreign and domestic. I don't think this warrants a tit-for-tat argument. I do, however, recognize the tactic you are using and it is nothing against you--it is just how the liberal mindset operates--get the opponent disorganized and off the OT so to better stab him in the back later on with a distinct advantage. I submit to you that that will not work with me.
Anyway, some kids don't know how to handle guns as well as some adults. That is fine as long as they don't get hurt. If they do then education is warranted. Education in the ways of proper handling of weed is something that should not be subjected to kids and teens to lead to a degredation of moral fabric.
