I have Galactic Civilizations 2 installed on my laptop, along with Civ 4. I had come out of PC gaming for years. I used to do the entire upgrade my PC to play the latest games when I worked at IBM. I have many boxes of games, including a shelf of them above a desk in the office here full of a bunch of games, including Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic, and Starships Unlimited.
The point here is that these are GAMES. They are meant to entertain. Your comment: "you just aren't ready for PC gaming", shows also what I am talking about. Gaming isn't something one should be "ready" for. I am paying money to be entertained, so I would expect things to deliver without headaches. My issue is that I don't want to pay money and get headaches. That is the issue. If I have to put up with headaches, I want someone to pay me to do it. Not me pay them money.
