The cartoon was released first, but it was based on the game. Ironic it not only beat the game to market but made it look like the game was something to market the show instead of the other away around. A lot of people who've played Viva Pinata will tell you that Leafos tells you a ton of "secrets" that are out right lies. Most of them pertaining on how to get certain Pinatas. I think Microsoft actually made rare change a lot of elements of the game to match the show, like getting Zumbugs from feeding Daisys and Blackberries to Horstachios
