Parokki said: I own the first three X-Com games on my PC (UFO: Enemy Unknown, Terror From the Deep, Apocalypse). The first one I ever played was the second one, which is universally recognised as a shitty carbon copy of the first with a few features that renders it virtually unplayable, but I loved it. Had serious trouble in getting back to it later though. This is actually totally different from what you asked, but somewhat fits with the title. I'll think of a better story later, I promise. =P |
I'm hurt! Oh, owie. I loved the X-com games! The second one was definitely a carbon copy of the first, no arguement there, but I loved it! My friends and family and I would fight about who could have time on my parents computer to play it! We slightly solved it by having someone play X-com on the PS and X-Com 2 on the PC. Still had 4 people waiting for a turn though. Side Note: This is the only game I've been better at when inebriated, hehe.
On Topic: I played Final Fantasy Mystic Quest too. Wow, what a horrid game.
Edit: I feel sheepish. I missed you saying "but I loved it.". My bad. Try out Rebelstar Tactical Command on the GBA. It's amost exactly the same as the old X-Com games.
