I agree, it's really little more than just saying that you are male or female... And let's put it bluntly: if a man says he's hetero or gay, I don't think about sex in either case... While if a woman tells me she's etero or lesbian I think about sex in both case, and if she says she's bi, I really can'help telling her she's my ideal gf!!!
