Actually, while FFVI has aged beautifully (in fact, all the good SNES RPG's have) FFVII has not aged well. It looked and played like shit when it came out and it still looks terrible today.
I know I love to wave the graphics don't matter flag but that is talking about good graphics. The game can look so bad and the environments can be so confusing (they knew because of the little hand to show you were you are in the screen) that it can really take away from the game.
