No, I just understand the definitions of things and try to understand people's positions rather than to misrepresent them ... While a lot of Social Democrats define themself as Socialists out of ignorance there are several important differences between the two political positions.
The reason why I pointed out the inconsistency with his position is because people rarely hold positions which are inconsistent with their true values. While there are hundreds of values most people would agree are desireable, most people only have a handful of true personal values which drive the decisions they make; and many values are mutually exclusive.
