And your argument is not correct as listed, because it starts with "I think we all agree that..." and my post made it clear that I do not agree. Hence, we do not all agree, so you are wrong.

I didn't say my argument was correct as listed.  I said the FACT of this situation was correct as listed.

That would be:

This woman was not banned for being a lesbian!!!!  This is not about discrimination!! She was banned for having text in the profile which relates to, hints at, is a topic of, or stands for something of sexual nature.

And lesbian, no matter how you look at it or describe it, is still a TOPIC of sexual nature.  Sexual orientation is a topic of sexual nature.  It fits the rules.  It can also relate to, hint at, or stand for something of sexual nature.  Just because you view it differently yourself does not make these truths any less ... well... true.

She was banned for mentioning a sexuality that other people dislike.  It's a system that lets the community decide that one sexuality is offensive and can't be mentioned, while another sexuality is not offensive and can be mentioned.  However, MicroSoft can't just absolve itself from this mess and let the community be the bigots.  It's instituionalized heterosexism.
