November, 2016: Sony lauinches PS4 after the sucessful PS3's 10-year plan. LTD 150 million PS3s were sold compared to 7 million Wiis and 10 million X360s. The X360 had negative sales due to major RROD issues and the duct tape fell apart on most Wiis leaving two Gamecubes instead. Thus gamecube wins 6th gen with 200 million consoles sold.
December, 2016: after many years of wait, Square Enix releases FFXIII exclusively for the PS4. The game was already being compared to Guns N Roses' Chinese Democracy album due to the massive amount of time on developing hell.
