February 2012: Kaz Hiari has announced that Sony and Microsoft will join forces to create a new game console to compete against Nintendo and the Wii/Nintendo DS/Trii console combo.
Microsoft will develop the sofwtare tools based on Windows 8 and Sony will contribute with the hardware and technology, adding 2 Blu ray drives and 3 Hard drives.

Sales for the xbox360 and the PS3 went down on 2011, with Microsoft having a 20% of the market and Sony a 10% while Nintendo had an amazing 70% market share.
The new console is expected to be released on Summer of 2013 with Halo 5 and Little Big Planet: Revenge bundled and a Motion sensing Dual shock.
