When I want story, I go and see a movie. When I want to play a game, I just don't want it to be something simple button smashing. (And hey thats what I think. Of course you are entitled to have own opinion, which I guess I am not, but anyway. :) )

 

You FOOL all hack and slash is button mashing. God of war is just better than all of the others.

You are the fool here. Go button mash in Ninja Gaiden / Ninja Gaiden Black / Ninja Gaiden 2 and see how long you last even in easy mode. I'd say you won't even pass half of the first chapter, quite likely the first batch of enemies will cut you to slices.
