Nice point. In the last Iron Man game, Tony was mostly battling bazooka-equipped soldiers and tanks. Not entirely a fair fight 
. If he were battling the likes of Doctor Doom (or Doombots will suffice), then much better.
I guess the problem is they have to have semblance with the movies, and the licensing involved when using villains not part of the movie.
On a side note, I remember a mod for Quake3, Bid for Power. Originally a Dragonball Z themed mod, I think it could look great as an Iron Man game, too (at least on multiplayer mode).
Superman needs to work on his heat vision, IMO. It doesn't really look spectacular on screen, straight red ray is too much golden era. At least, Cyclops had his Mega Optic Blast.
