I'll take the bet disolitude. I say it's impossible for RE5 to sell GC/PS2 RE4. Even though I didn't like that version either, this is worse.

I state RE5 on ps360 will outsell RE4 on GC/PS2 before January 1st 2010. 

If we were to bet, we could do it just for bragging rights in our signatures...if we;re both still aroudn this site when the game is released. :)

Oh I could care less if it sells or not. All I am stating is that i bleive it will sell very well because of coop. I am very familiar with the xbox demographic in north america... If Army of 2 can do 1.8 million and be a completely mediocre shooter game with coop...resident evil should have no problems clearing 3 million on the 360. Not to mention is has an early head start so it doesn't have to compete with many big budget titles later in the year. So that leaves 1.5 mil on the ps3...

I wouldn't say this game is going to be more enjoyable than resident evil 4 (or resident evil 1,2,3,cv) but itll sell very well. RE4 was a low point for resident evil as it came out after RE Zero which was the lowest reviewed and selling RE game to date. RE4 managed to turn things around by being one of the best games ever made. RE5 will reap the benefits of that...
