Oh, wow, have you been building that entirely yourself, or have you had outside (paid) help?

By the looks of that photo, your not building it in an entirely developed area, you still gonna be able to get internet access in there?

I have done a lot of the work but I have also had a lot of help.  I do what I can and if I run into problems I call in some people I know who does this type of stuff for a living ( at a discount to me ).  The area is sort of remote but it is close enough to the main telephone junction that I can still get mid grade DSL.   I have also wired the house with network cable in every room so I should be fine with internet access.  In the future (if I can get the permit) I plan on building a paddle wheel power generator at the creek to get free electricity.  I have always enjoyed tinkering with stuff and anytime you can cut the cost of electric and help the environment is a good thing.

I helped my best friend build a wind turbine 2 years ago to power his garage.  It is really neat but he still has to use power from the electric grid for his aircompressor and heating.
