Looks like someone at Microsoft has some sense. They decided to let the people keep the overpayments.  Pretty nice gesture actually.

 

Nice gesture on Microsoft's part, but it can be a liability to them.  Now the other severed employees who received the correct amount can claim they were "unequally" compensated.  This could become a real rats nest for MS.
