2. A lot of people do think the Wii is a fad (of course, not on this site). Almost everyone that I know (in real life) that has one, is not a console/pc gamer. They're parents or 10 year olds.

I know a lot of people who post silly and stupid statements all around the web, so internet was made for silly and stupid people... if i tell you so, it's true!

Sarcasm off/ Oh, and by the way, i can't be a parent AND be a "real" console gamer? Give me a break! I'm 39, i've played on more consoles in my life than most of the so-called "hardcore" players, and today, my greatest fun is playin' DS and Wii with my kids...

And i consider PS3 and 360 as total rip-offs, not because i'm not a "real" console gamer, or because i'm a braindead fanboy, but because there are many, many reasons to think so! I prefer a good PC to a Red Ring of Death or a Blue Ray of Uselessness!

totally agree with you , many console people screaming HD gaming like something ultra cool and new.  They really dont know what they are talking about.  PC gamers been playing HD gaming for years already, just that not many have the luxury to play PC game on a monitor capable displaying over 1600x1200 resolution. ITs not that big of a deal. even on 1280x1024 I consider that HD when compared to console.(remember most of the videocard on the market able to display resolution over 1600x1200)

bottom line is; all these bullshit talk and hype about HD gaming is just a gimmick, console maker basically use these arguement to avoid a spec sheet of raw power what their system can do. I"m sure that video chipset underneath 360/ps3 capable display something very high in resolution, dont be suprise if that chip inside the wii able to display high resolution with a firmware upgrade.  Although it can but will it run at a playable frame rate is another story.

I have been playing with 1280x1024 for almost 10years
