Games I bought in 08: Lost Oddyssey, Gears of War 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Geometry Wars 2, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, No More Heroes, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Grand Theft Auto IV, Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, Unreal Tournoment III, Little Big Planet, PES2009, Valkyria Chronicles.
Castle Crashers, Braid, Wipeout HD, and a few more arcade games.
wow 15 games sad...and that is not even counting rentals.
This year: I have only bought Flower so far. I plan on getting Killzone 2, Star Ocean 4, Lost and the Damned, Infamous possibly, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, GT5, FFXIII I hope, Madworld, The Conduit is likely, as well as DQX I hoope.
