I'm sorry to hear that Maxwell, really am - Melee was just less forgiving than Brawl, Brawl seems to add this floaty lag that gives players way too much time to start thinking about what they will do. Balances the playing field sure but not the characters.

Melee was more do or die, and EVERY character could wave dash, at least I can wave dash with every character. Heck Brawl actually helped my wave dashing ability since I use Pit in fights I do a lot of wing refreshing, which is basically wave dashing minus all the options.

Melee > Brawl when it comes to metagame, I'm trying to view this objectively since I actually stopped playing Melee for almost a year now and only played Brawl, it was only last week at a friends house that I went back to Melee and realized how great it really is. I never wanted to touch Brawl again.

On the plus side I read an article that Nintendo in an effort to increase user awarness of online functions on the Wii are doing some work with Wiiware and gametrailers as well as boosting Wii connectivity, They also mentioned that a storage solution is coming, my guess is they acknoledged that the install base that is complaining about storage are the ones buying games that they want to show can move on the Wii.

The main point is Wii connectivity, if they mean firmware for better online either by using alternative or predictive coding for online to reduce the effect of lag or by eliminating friend codes or reducing their influence then good things, specially for a lagless online in brawl.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.
