Technically, 720p is better. 1080i is technically a "bigger" resolution, but due to the fact that it's an interlaced format, it only displays half of its scanlines at any one time. Therefore,
720p: 720 scanlines
1080i: 540 scanlines
Therefore, while images may look a tiny bit sharper on 1080i resolution, 720p offers vastly superior color definition and none of the subtle screen flickering and other annoying issues associated with interlaced resolutions.
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
