They won't force users absolutely have to play through ME1 to get ME2. Thats a very simple design decision. But that does NOT mean that the motivation would be for a multi-plat PS3 release. Keep your pipe dreams, PS3 fanboys.
Given the scope of the trilogy, it'd only be fair for PS3 owners to get all 3 games when they're all out in a single boxed set. Otherwise, PS3 fans aren't going to 'get' it.
