I became aware of the Bartle test some years ago and I've gone trhough it several times. Consistently, I always had Explorer as my main archtype while Killer, test after test, remained my lowest score.
Then, I started playing Eve online. The game has quite a few options for "peaceful" gameplay, but I joined a pirate corporation and spent a couple years pew-pewing players. What do you know? next time I take the test my Killer ranking jumps up to 60%.
