Lost: Backwards Compatibility, Found: ...
I feel lucky to have a launch model. I wonder how many more systems would sell if they brought this compatibility back. I'm sure with the economic pinch and already high price of the console, it would never happen.
It was a system seller for me though. I have a 24inch HD monitor that does not have component hookups. The PS3 allows me to play PS2 games in my room without having to buy an SDTV or shady converters.
Everything else is indeed, awesome.

Person 2: No.
Person 1: Forget it. I'm not buying it.
