Oh man, I cant believe people here. If you have a save then you can carry on. If you dont then the game will have lower enemies and less of the universe traveled simple. Nothing to do with KIA for Shepheard or not.
Also if it's on PS3 then more will enjoy. But seriously be lost, you have to play the first game.
But I wouldnt get your hopes up. Nothing has ever been confirmed, and the fact that the first trailer didnt state the multi thing. It doesnt look good for PS3 version.
