Or why not: Total software sales on PS3 (that is all publishers including Sony) = 2,684,750
3rd party software sales on Wii (only 3rd parties, no Nintendo) = 3,346,250.

It took what, 11 games to achieve that number? Now take a look at the 360 where three games(Dead Rising, Gears Of War, Lost Planet) achieved about 75% of that. Throw in Rainbow Six, GRAW, and it exceeds that number.

The third-party software sales of the PS2 weren't anything to write home about at this point in time, either, so it shouldn't be surprising that it's the same way with the PS3. Wait until more of the heavy hitters come out(for both systems) and then make a comparison.

Lord N, the Wii has been out for 4 months, the best third-party games are not going to be out yet!

NA release dates check Wikipedia.com

The 360 released on 11/22/05.

Dead Rising released on 9/9/06.  9 1/2 months later

Gears of War (not third-party made by Microsoft Game Studios) released on 11/12/06. 12 months later

Lost Planet was released on 12/22/06. 13 months later.

But they are supposed to have top selling third-partys in 4 months lets keep it fair please.
