Am I the only one who things that Sony in the US must be in a time warp that prevents them from leaving the 1990s?
You produce one of the most expensive consoles in recent history and try to justify its cost because it is an amazingly powerful machine that can produce "Amazing" graphics in real-time, you spend tens of millions of dollars and take multiple years producing games that approach what people imagined the PS3 would be, and rather than demonstrate these (very nice) in game graphics you produce commercials which show as little in game footage as possible. To make matters worse for Sony is that (unlike the mid 1990s) we live in a society where people are constanly bombarded with high quality computer generated images, and very few people are (particularly) impressed by them any more.
