Asking if you benefit by your potential customers spending their money on a competitor's products instead of potentially on your products seems silly.

Interesting point. If I remember correctly one of the SCE guys, I think Yoshida, said that he hopes that the 360 is going to sell better in Japan because it would help the PS3 as well.

I remember reading this as well.
