MikeB, unless you have statistical information about the demographics of the platforms I think you shouldn't make claims about them.

I already shared one source earlier in this thread.

http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/4646.html
http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/19/nielsen-wii-audience-is-youngest-ps3-audience-is-oldest/

And i already pointed out the flaws in those studies.

In otherwords the fact that the Wii has more players per system.

If you check it out there report is dealing with percentages.  Not numbers.

The Wii has a lower percentage of 18-24 demographic because there are higher percentages within.

The Nielson study was talking about percentages withing the console.  Not within the market.

For example....

Wii has 30 people in the 17-24 demographic.

70 in the 70+ Up

PS3 has 7 people in the 17-24 demographic

PS3 3 in the up.

The percentage is better for the PS3... but in reality the Wii rules the 17 to 24 demographic.

The articles just use the numbers weird for some reason... despite stating what they mean in the articles.

Your data is flawed.

Though this is no surprise.
