I just want to reiterate the point that the guy who wrote out the article on that website is bullshitting. To my knowledge, none of what he said has ever been said by anyone connected to the project.
I'd say most of it is likely to be true, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it was likely made up. Hell, the guy didn't even cite any sources. All he did was make some stuff up, and mark it as rumor so nobody would call him out.
