If I own a Wii and am not playing it as much as similar gamers are playing their PS3 or XBox 360 does that mean that I don't exist, don't want to buy games for my Wii, or companies have not effectively catered to my desires for games on that system?
Why not just get a game system with games you want to play games on then? The Wii is pretty much a gaming-only device, if you don't like the games enough...
I think it's mostly the content which attracts users, so if there are primarily kid games for a console, like was the case for the GameCube, it's not suprising Nintendo's data showed the platform was dominated by kids. Nintendo's main mascots are all cute and very much kid targeted. Specifications don't matter as much as many young kids aren't allowed online nor have a HDTV in their bedroom...
