Why do you find the truth so odd? No other country comes even remotely close.
Oh, and to that other guy.... I didn't start the aircraft carrier talk, someone else did. But since it was mentioned, you can't be a super power without large carriers. The UK learned that lesson during the Falkland wars. |
Well, if you think your country is the greatest in everything, fair enough. I reckon the truth is quite bendable in this case.
1. Human rights? Just one word: Guantanamo
2. Education? Literacy rate is higher in ! Cuba ! and in every other western country i.e.
3. Export of goods? Hm, not that good at all...
4. medical healthcare? Great for the richest, okay for the middle class, nearly not there/ like in a 3rd world country for the rest
etc....
The USA are a great country, but by saying, you're the best at everything, you basically just proof ignorance.
Didn't realize, that the UK tried to be a superpower during the Falkland war (they've won it anyway). I've always thought, they just wanted to keep their base close to the antarctica, to be able to get some of the possibly found natural reserves later on. But I might be wrong on that.
