I meant for sony... Why push a money losing console on a market where your profits are gonna be slim to none? Do you want to lose more money?? Promote the PSP & PS2 now... save the ps3 for when its costs are down...

If the few rich enough pay parallel import PS3's $1000, Sony can price it at $500 instead of $400, earn a few bucks instead of losing some tens per unit and expand PS3 user base and appeal for developers. After all EU price, even subtracting VAT, is higher than $400... Well, they could price PS3 in Euros outside USA, Canada and Mexico.
