Well entertainment is supposed to be recession proof.

The questions are....

1) Are people shifting down?  Spending the same amount of money but on cheaper entertainment.

2) Does it matter?  It's foolish to think that post recession spending will be analgous to prerecession spending.

Think of people who lived through the great depression.  They're spending habits are quite different.

The focus on value a depression may create may cause a problem for Blu-ray which doesn't really offer much.
