Weren't you two just accusing people of naivety which allowed Hitler into power. And now you want a mass killing of innocent people. People like you two are the reason why most people hate the US. And you wonder why people want to blow your country up...

Regarding Hitler, Europe's naivety led to inaction. If Europe took action, WWII could have been avoided.
I know the only safe thing to do with the Guantanamo illegal combatants is to execute them. Now, certain naive people would release them, and they would just continue their terrorist ways.
Look at what happened to Bill Clinton. He refused Saudi Arabia's offer to turn Osama Bin Laden over to the US. That little mistake of his came back to bite us in 2001.
Geneal Pershing crushed the islamic uprising in the Phillipines. He executed the millitants and burried their corpses with pig guts. Dead and no 72 virgins, that got their attention. Except for one, he was wrapped in a pig carcass to deliver the message.
Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.
