When they need to break them, its fine, but when someone like the Sudan or Iran breaks them, watch out, or you'll get a stern talking-to, Russia and China will veto some half-baked UN Security Council Resolution, and everything will go back to normal
International Politics is pretty much all about posturing these days. No one is in the ideal position to just overthrow the balance of power |
To be fair the western countries have generally got a far better record of human rights in modern times than most countries.
