Then I'm not interested. The reason I asked, "How does it play?" is because UT2K4 was disappointing on many different levels, mostly gameplay issues.

If you play some of the fun maps instead of the crap that comes with the game the whole experience is different imo. If its just the style of the game you didn't like then I don't think anything is going to have changed, but if it was the maps and gameplay modes I would give it at least a second chance by perhaps trying some of the community maps like the assualt maps on Omnipotents server etc... A lot of the really good servers are gone now, mostly likely they are either prepping for the new UT or they have moved on to other things.

Well, the maps aren't great, but my biggest problem was with the AI.  That, and I hate the translocator, it completely destroys tactics or strategy.  And most of the vehicles handle like crap.  I could go on... but even if all these things were OK, a game should be fun out of the box.  You shouldn't have to wait for the community to make it fun.

Basically, I've had a lot more fun playing TFC, BF1942, and even the original UT than UT2K4.
