I think that might be a tad unfair, since uber attacks are usually what breaks defenses in CP maps. If a couple of scouts were defending a point, they could just stun the the ubered attackers (like slow moving heavies or demomen), which could make things a tad unbalanced.

Pyros can already do that with their compresssed air blast.

That requires them to get in the face of an uber, where they aren't likely to live long.

Scouts can do it clear across the map. And in fact, it looks like it might be more effective if they do. Unless these home runs are really inaccurate.

'Good' pyros can do it fine, it's only 8 seconds.  We don't know anything about the bat yet, I'll reserve judgment until we either know more, or I've used it and seen it in action.

The ball will most certainly be a visible projectile, so like soldier rockets you'll have fair time to dodge them. Heck soldiers rockets can stall ubers anyway just be aiming at their feet, so how will it be much different? Seems to me like it would be like hitting them with the flaregun.

Uber pushes should be team events IMO, not just lone pair.  The latter deserves to be nullified.
