As much as I love JRPG's, I think I just suck at them.

I get tricked so damn easily. I know I spent over an hour flying around looking for Zaude in Vesperia, not knowing that's where I was suspose to go.

Just out of curiosity, where are you in the game? Did you get lost looking for Melchior or something?

This is going to sound incredibly noobish, but...

The part when you go back into the past and need to save that queen or whatever. I don't know how far I am, but I've got 4:53 hours on it so far.

By my calculations, the game will take you about... 150 hours to beat. Just kidding 8)

Stick with it, because Chrono Trigger, in addition to being possibly the greatest, is also a great starter-rpg. . . the only drawback being that it makes older SNES games, even most of FFVI, look bad in terms of graphics and polish*.

The part you're on is actually the only potentially confusing transition I can remember from the whole game. It doesn't have any of the confusing bits like the recent Tales games where they throw a huge world map at you and expect you to remember the name of every desert porta-potty. Explore the world map, take in the sights, take up a hobby, figure out the cathedral puzzle, get a bit further (like 1-2 hours more), and believe me, you'll love it.

*But they remake those games so often, we'll probably be playing them all in 4D in a couple more years.
