I suggest you come up with some good threats and present said threats to him politely. Like I had someone borrow a game from me and when he was being to lazy to return it I told him I didn't appreciate it and don't make me get the cops involved. Obviously thats a stupid threat but it scared him into giving it back haha. Sometimes stupid threats really work if the person is gullible enough to fall for it.
