Well maybe I overstated and the number of new people buying Blu-Ray movies balances out the number of people who stopped buying Blu-Ray movies ...
Now, I could be wrong but I expect that Blu-Ray and HD-DVD will (over the next couple of months) come to a point of (very rough) equality and that, in order to have the winning format, one of the consortiums will make a deal with the devil (Apex Digital).
