I don't think you would see Grandma trolling around Circuit City and just answering random surveys(that is, we don't know the make up of the survey and how it was done i.e. was the sample random?). Damn, I actually thought Kwaad was at least reasonable but him claiming the HD penetration rate is at 49%? Wow, just wow. It needs to be repeated so here ya go:
that means 49% have a HDTV. and 34% more plan to buy one in the next year.
