If we had listened to Edison and used his foolish DC power distribution methods the industrial revolution would never have occurred. Although I should not call his plan foolish but instead manipulative as it was simply to further his own wealth. Without Tesla would I even be able to type this message right now? Tesla is called the father of the 20th century for a reason.
