Of my many Wiimotes, all they have is discoloured straps and thumbsticks, dead skin in the side cracks, and a dent or two from the occasional trip across the room. Oh, and one of my nunchuks has a mysterious gash in the cable which exposes the wire. Works fine so far, though.
I have killed a couple crappy third party GC controllers, though.
