I mean it does have:
1. A large surface area. 2. A lovely shiny coating which shows off the dust. 3. A terrible time in its past with few games of any note released. |
? How more so then any other console? In the first year of the 360 it wasn't exactly blooming with great titles every month like now. I got my 360 year one and the only games I got that entire year were Oblivion, Dead Rising, perfect dark, fear and prey. Hell, I find a lot of gamers complaining about the wii's lineup even to this day. Also, PS3 users without a 360 had many great multiplat games in it's first year that people forget about as well as titles like Resistance, Ratchet and Clank and increadible Uncharted. I thinky you like to cherry pick.

The PS3 was the first console I ever bought from launch. Erm, also since others have said so, I figured it was something everybody experienced.

Your missing the point. It's not that it didn't lack many great games. It's that ALL consoles have that problem in the first year. :P

Lulz. I have no other experience with launch consoles. So to me it is... My Xbox 360 was an absolute bounty by comparison when I got it, (Does help that my local rental place stocks far more 360 games than PS3 games)
